About Alex

He writes, he reviews, he repeats.

Alex Buda (they/them) is an East Coast-based extroverted introvert and writer. Buda is hurriedly working on the final edits of their first novel, A Brief Introduction to Time Travel. They earned a fancy piece of paper from Penn State University and then acquired a slightly cheaper one from Chicago's Second City Film School.

Buda now writes copy, spec scripts, pilots, short stories, and complete novels, most of which have a fun time living in a dusty Google Drive folder.

When writing, Alex often goes by the name A.R. Buda

EXPENT.AI

Alex collaborated with the founders of Expent to develop their website copy and layout. Their main job was simplifying technical concepts for a wider audience. To create the copy, they engaged with developers to effectively showcase software features and led productive meetings to drive progress and gather feedback.

Cheeky Charity

When Alex found out that a charitable organization needed help writing butt-puns to raise awareness for colorectal cancer, he quickly offered his services. Alex wrote copy for Cheeky Charity’s #MarchYourButt campaign website as well as one-sheet content and social posts.

Lure Digital

Alex had the pleasure of writing copy for Lure Digital’s blog. His blog posts for the media management company were written to convince prospective clients their companies could benefit from adding digital marketing to their marketing plans.

A Briefer Introduction to Time Travel:
the Zine

A.R. Buda desperately wants to publish their first book, A Brief Introduction to Time Travel. The final manuscript needs the wrinkles ironed out before any sensible Literary Agent will give it a once over, but Buda lacks the funding to pay an editor all by themselves.

That is why this Zine exists. Will exist. Has always existed.

Feel free to check out the campaign; it’s only semi-mandatory.
